Off Campus Programs

The Office of Educational Opportunity & TRIO Programs at Georgia State University houses six precollege programs that are funded by the U.S. Department of Education. These programs are designed to provide educational outreach to participants who are not directly impacted by the University. This department focuses on first generation, low-income, and/or disabled middle school, high school, adults, and veterans who have a desire to pursuit a postsecondary education. Through innovative methodologies and outreach services, the goals of the precollege programs are to ensure successful completion of secondary education, admittance, and enrollment in a program of postsecondary education, and completion of a program of postsecondary education.
